Congratulations Chloe!

Cater Plus’ Business Development and Training Coordinator – Chloe Sowden, graduates with Diploma in Hospitality Operations Management.

Chloe worked part-time in hospitality throughout secondary school and university, but it was while she was travelling abroad she realised this was her passion and she wanted to begin a career in hospitality. When Chloe returned back to home soil in 2011, she joined Cater Plus as a Barista. She soon became one of Cater Plus’ first apprentices in Catering Management.

Fast forward seven years Chloe is now the Business Development and Training Coordinator for Cater Plus. Developing foodservice management solutions for companies throughout New Zealand and helping others up skill and progress in their careers in the food service sector.

Chloe has recently graduated with a Diploma in Hospitality through Service IQ which supports her passion of helping others to up skill and achieve national qualifications through on the job training.
Learning on the job and the need to up skill are never ending in the dynamic and ever changing hospitality industry, and completing the Diploma in Hospitality (Operations Management) L5 in April 2018 has provided the perfect platform to hone her skills in foodservice management and as a workplace assessor. This linked with Cater Plus’s core values of “Passion for Food” and “Excellence in Service” and the company’s absolute drive to improve staff by training and development provides a partnership for success.
