Casual Catering Assistant, Aged Care - Taumarunui

Casual Position


We are on the lookout for a passionate kitchen staff member who would enjoy the opportunity to share their culinary skills and outstanding customer service with the 45 residents at this aged residential care home based in Taumarunui.

We have an opportunity available to cover Catering Assistant shifts as and when required to fill gaps in the roster and cover leave, so we are looking for motivated individuals who are flexible to work across the various shifts of a 7-day roster.

To be successful you will need to:

- Be friendly and engaging and enjoy making the day of residents by serving amazing meals.
- Have an understanding of dietary requirements, allergies, and food control regulations.
- Be an exceptional team player with a flexible and committed attitude.
- Have good time management skills.
- Be able to work safely in a commercial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.

Previous kitchen experience is not required as training will be provided to someone who possesses the right attitude and motivation.
