Café Supervisor – Selwyn Village Café, Auckland
Sunday and Monday 7.00am – 3.30pm, 16 hours per week

The Selwyn Village philosophy is of providing ‘a continuum of care’. Alongside the independent retirement living option, Selwyn Village has its own rest home, dementia and hospital care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Café Supervisor with experience in managing the day to day running of a busy Café and staff, making coffees, serving customers, and presenting cabinet food and basic menu items.
It is particularly unique as success will depend on your ability to build relationships with the elderly clientele, that makes them want to keep coming back, and bringing their family and visitors to experience your outstanding hospitality.
We are looking for a passionate, caring, and responsible person who can:
• manage the day to day running of the Café on Sundays and Mondays.
• serve beautifully crafted café style food to customers,
• make stunning coffees,
• operate Eftpos and POS machine with a helpful and friendly disposition,
• assist with food preparation and keep café area clean and tidy,
• take responsibility for day-to-day service of the café and participate as part of the larger food service team,
• utilise great communication skills, build relationships, and demonstrate a committed, can-do attitude.
